Ø As a cyber security analyst, you'll need to: · Good Knowledge & hands on Practise of:- Ø OWASP TOP 10 / ASVS / NIST / SANS Ø OSI Model / Network / Server / TCP-UDP Ø VAPT / Web App Testing / Pentesting / IOT Ø Able to work on Standard Cyber Security Tools like Burp,Nessus,OWASP Zap etc. Ø Friendly Environment with Kali Linux / Metasploit / Nmap / Nikto other tools Ø keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments Ø research/evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them Ø plan for disaster recovery and create contingency Ø plans in the event of any security breaches Ø monitor for attacks, intrusions and unusual, Ø unauthorised or illegal activity Ø test and evaluate security Applications Ø use advanced analytic tools to determine Ø emerging threat patterns and vulnerabilities Ø engage in 'ethical hacking', for example, simulating security breaches Ø investigate security alerts and provide incident response Ø monitor identity and access management. Ø including monitoring for abuse of permissions by authorised system users Ø liaise with stakeholders in relation to cyber security issues Ø and provide future recommendations Ø generate reports for both technical and non-technical staff and stakeholders Ø maintain an information security risk register Ø and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security Ø assist with the creation, maintenance Ø and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues Ø give advice and guidance to staff on iss Ø such as spam and unwanted or malicious emails.
