Meet Gopal Santra, a 25-year-old pharmaceutical assistant for surgery at (), who dreams of breaking into Cybersecurity and Ethical Hacking. Hailing from a small village near Budge Budge, Gopal is the only earning member after his father’s death. This man with promising talent lives alone in Kolkata, working tirelessly to provide for his family while keeping his dream of becoming a cybersecurity professional alive.Gopal hails from the agricultural family background. And hustle is his second nature. After passing out of Bawali High School, he joined New Alipore College as (stream of edu). To fund his education, he worked a few odd jobs at pharmacies. But, after his father’s death, he was forced to leave his education and work full time to support his widowed mother and younger brother. But life is unpredictable often. His cumulative experience in pharmacy helped him land a non-medicine-related job at a local hospital. Slowly and gradually, he took time to learn new skills and got a (diploma as a pharmaceutical assistant for surgery) and switched to a better job. However, Gopal has his interests set elsewhere. He stumbled upon an interview by Samrat Mukherjee, who was working as an ethical hacker while carrying on with his studies on the side. According to Gopal “I was amazed at Samrat sir’s multitasking skills. He was simultaneously handling his studies while working as an ethical hacker”. Gopal’s dreams were big but required money. He and his mother pooled their savings to fund his dream. He came to Dataspace Academy intending to learn Web Application Penetration Testing (WAPT). His trainer, Davinder Singh, has only praises for his hard-working student. According to him, "Gopal has a never-give-up attitude. He is never shy of challenges. Whatever life throws at him, he is always playing them on a front foot". Currently, Gopal has graduated from his course and is looking for an ethical hacking-based role.
